The DEHSF is grateful for the many alumni, educators, parents, and friends who have made a philanthropic commitment to our fund throughout the years. Your gifts make it possible for us to enhance a world class educational experience for all East High School students by providing financial support for academics, fine arts, student activities, athletics, and campus enhancements. Please help us continue the tradition of providing a world class educational experience for all Duluth East High School students.

Our Initial Goal - $250,000
The goal for the initial phase of fundraising for the Duluth East High School Foundation* is $250,000. That is the amount needed to begin making impactful grants to the school (click here for grant guidelines). It is planned to one day have a multimillion dollar asset from which to assist in providing a world class education for East High School Students.

If you have already made a decision to support the Foundation, please know that it is appreciated and needed, and that continued support is critical to meeting the goal.

*Established: April 2011; Minnesota nonprofit corporation, IRC Sec 501(c)3 tax exempt status. Gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. Your financial advisor/accountant can advise you about your gift.

How you can help
We would encourage you to consider some of the following ways to help grow the Duluth East High School Foundation. The Foundation encourages gifts of cash(checks) and securities. Please contact us for more complicated gifts such as life insurance, bequests, and trusts which are also welcome in supporting the Foundation. Duluth East High School Foundation is the nonprofit corporate name of this entity for use in wills. Financial advisors are available to answer your questions.

Red & Grey Club
This club is for all donors making gifts of of any size up to the $1,000 level. It is a great way to help grow the foundations assets and keep abreast of East activities and events.

In Memorium/In Honor
In lieu of flowers or other memorials, a donation can be made in the name of a departed alumni or faculty member of East High School.

Legacy Gift
We ensure our donors' intentions are honored and fulfilled, forever! Gifts from your estate may be made to the Duluth East High School Foundation. Please contact us for more information.

Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate Sponsors for the operations of the Foundation are welcome in any amount, especially during the startup phase. Receive recognition space on our web site, a decal in your business window noting DEHSF sponsorship, and the satisfaction that comes with knowing your donations are helping our East High School students and our future.
